Online travel company MakeMyTrip.com has entered into a strategic partnership with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to sell customised rail-holiday packages.

According to MakeMyTrip, the partnership would extend the choice of holidays that the website offers to its customers by providing travellers options of railway packages along with air-tickets, hotel bookings and holidays, on a single platform.

Sachin Bhatia, co-founder, MakeMyTrip, has said, “The tie-up with IRCTC will empower travellers by providing them greater choice and flexibility when planning holidays. It is also of long-term strategic significance for us.” (Source: Business Standard)
